Welcome to the beginning of the holiday season! Like my avatar's seasonal fashion choice?


I've been so run down this week. D: Really have not been sleeping well, so if you see me on dA at three in the morning, it's because I fucked up my sleep pattern by pulling an allnigher reading fanfiction. I know, smart right?

Thinking of doing a journal skin, since I've only got a few months left before my sub runs out (aka I'm asking for charity people! I can't liiiiiiive without it!), and I want my page to look cooler. Anyone got any really cool, modern looking ones?

Took the time for some reflection the other day. Unbelievable, over three years now I've been here, feels like it's been so much longer. DeviantART, more than anything else except my parents, has seen me grow up and mature and hopefully will continue to. And just wait until I'm eighteen, then oh boy, I'll have an @ faster than you can say "HOSHI-!"


Who has plans for the Christmas season? I don't, hopefully, because I totally want a vacation from schoolwork. :D

So for those of you who don't know, I volunteer to ride on my city's ambulance () services. Today was my second time "riding", and my first call. Man, was it scar-y, it really felt real and everything. But, I am glad I did it, and I know I want to keep going with it.



I am so SWAMPED with schoolwork, and it's my own fault for falling behind too. That, of course, makes it worse. :< Whoever said junior year was the hardest year, you're totally correct.



Trying to draw more, and I have a few ideas (one of them involving a rather interesting comment in Complaints yesterday ) about things. Let me know if you want to see anything special.

Happy 9th anniversary, deviantART. This is probably the twentieth journal you've all see, so I'll keep it short.

Also, Sunday is my third year of being on dA, so happy celebrating to me!

I took a trip down to Florida last weekend, and damn was it HOT there. I don't see how anyone could live in that weather, it was so disgusting. I could barely even do anything, because the weather was some of the worst that the people had seen.

Ehhhhh, I have nothing to say today, just wanted to make a new journal.

Hi everyone! Did you miss me?

*cricket chirp*

Well goddamn.

I'm back from CTY in Baltimore, and I had a great time. Met a few new people, and learned a ton about art history. Did not meet a guy, but oh well. :< There's always some other time, I suppose (Also, note to people who were going to that cosplay convention in Baltimore this weekend: you looked like idiots).

I am hoping to have some free time this summer to do some projects. However, either they will be for me personally, or they will be on ff.net (Yes, I write fanfiction. No, I'm still a good person. And no, nobody can have my pen name because I'm really an awful writer). So unless I actually do a good job on @Vlei's contest thing, which I am hoping to get my mythical being soon, no art for you.

OMG I JUST SAW HARRY POTTER. And it rocked. I had always loved the book, it was my favorite one of the series, and I'd been re-reading it a month beforehand. The movie was fantastic, won't spoil it for anyone, but please go see it.

I am sad that some people are leaving, like *Laerbn (I do actually like the guy, he's just a loser with a psycho girlfriend ) and that !EpicNguyen was banned (Why, oh why?!)

Believe that's it really, will be on and off (mostly on, except for a few small family/college visits) the rest of the summer, and hope to make my presence seen by all.

Finals are over! I am now done with being a sophmore, time to have some fun!

I will be leaving for my sleepaway camp early Sunday (June 28) morning, and will not be back until around July 20th, so if you have any declarations of love you'd like me to know about, please do so before that! I'm going down to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and possibly touring some local art museums (wink wink nudge nudge, if anyone's in the area in the next few weeks!) as I study History of Art. Woo hoo!

As I am going down to one of my favorite cities, Baltimore, I am starting my college search. Help! I don't know what to do. D: What do I look for? Most of you, my beloved watchers, have already done some sort of college looking-at or going-to, any pointers?

If someone catches my 20k Pageview (and at the rate I get PV's, I doubt it) just tell me? I'd like to know, it's a huge thing, especially with my third dA anniversary coming up.
